With October coming to the end,

We found this the morning we had our meeting.
It was cute.
Though he got no idea how to draw the body,
and replace it with sticks.
Now this had become my wallpaper.

Then there comes the day,
when everyone craze over sushis.

One afternoon,
wanting to go out for lunch,
Kaima's car had a broke down.

Being girls and not knowing what to do,
we decided to call for help.
The first one would be Winston.

Then,
the call for help went on to these fellow engineers:
-Lai, who was out for lunch, and obviously wouldnt help much
-Brian, who was having lunch in the SA and rushed over
-ZK , who brought along 2 friends, claimed to be a pro in cars.

Having around 10 people
trying to find solution to a broke down car.
But they couldnt do much either
because they didnt know how to.

One of the engineers said :
"Engineer 只是负责画而已的"
In other words,
他们不需要hands-on.
which supports the fact
that they didnt know how to fix a car.

The 8 of us, inclusive Sunshine Babe @ Daniel.
Minus FML.

Went Kajang for its famous Satay Kajang.
I dont know why they are that famous,
bt acc to FML,
its because of its kuah.

We went, not Haji Samuri,
but Restaurant Malaysia (Nyok Lan Sate Kajang),
a corner coffee shop in Kajang,
facing main road of Semenyih.

Been before with Stevent,
in fact, he's the one who recommended us this place
and brought us here.

They have Chicken, Beef,
Mutton, Fish and Duck :)

My favourite is still Fish ♥
The 8 of us ate about 100 cucuks of satay

Bill totaled up to RM 109.40
inclusive drinks and 2 plates of :

星洲米 @ Singapore Beehoon
which look more like Economic beehoon.

"料less" (没有料) lo the beehoon.
Pricey sumore.
And it came after we finished our satays.

But satays here damn nice.
I likey. LOL

Then ytd,
we went Pasar Malam Sg Long. :]
and 2nd round of Tong Sui at 甜在心.
But maybe because we super damn full,
we felt that the tong suis didnt meet our expectation.

Because of the difference in timing of our classes,
we went home to wait for Ah Di @ K Zai for lunch
together at 12.

In my previous post,
I'd already mentioned that
the toilet will undergo renovation
to fix the ceiling bocor case.

They were already
working by the time we got home.
Terrible.
It sounded more like WW2.

One thing good bout the renovation was
we're able to 'be nice' back to our neighbor
who were 'so nice' to us.

To kill time,
the 8 of us chordi-ed.
When we got bored,
we played something like SNAP.

And that's when :

My middle fingernail broke off.
Looked painful.
But,
not really.

And we went to the book fair by Big Bad Wolf in MAEPS Serdang.
Got these for ...

Less than RM100.
To be exact,

If I were to get these from bookstores,
they will cost me way more :)

Been busy ~~unpacking stuffs~~ outing.
LOL

I'd unpacked all my stuffs on the first day.
But then,
thanks to the stupid toilet,
now we both have to packed them all up again after 2 weeks.
:(
Sad.

But being very ~~LAZY~~ CLEVER,
we did this.

All that can be hidden are hid.

We now face the problem of not-having-place-to-sleep,
DOUBLE SADNESS.

To make things worse,
it'll take 1 week.
That's TRIPLE SADNESS.

Then after 1 week,
we'll have to clean up the mess
and unpacked/dust the dust away from our stuffs.
Now that's ULTRA SADNESS.

那天去了沙巴拍了700+ 张照片
因为我什么都拍，
就连草都不放过，
所以相机里的记忆卡爆满了。

去Straits Quay那天，
手痒了起来。

Malacca - Good Food ,Great Place

I've tried to write to details
of the trip to Malacca one month back
with the help of the pictures I have.

But then
due to the ~~poor and weak~~ superb memory I have,
I failed.
XD

So, I might ignore some detailed details
of the trip,
but who cares right?

It was the BFFs trip
after the last Genting-KL trip we had back in 2009.

• The BFFs : Dyven, Kym, Lenglui and Lyahn. :)

Minus kanasai darling who was tight on budget,
and Ahweiy who always FFK us

Departed at around 10.30pm on Wednesday night,
somewhere in July.

With the appx. 160km/h,
we reached KL around 1.15am
passed by Alor Gajah at 2.17
and finally,
Ayer Keroh at 2.30am.
(3 hours earlier than planned/expected)
XD

First meal in Malacca was..
MCD!
We missed the first 2,
dined at the third,
and we passed by the fourth on the way to Malacca town
from Ayer Keroh Tol Plaza.
D:

Stayed in Fenix Inn for the first 2 nights
RM100/room which is very worthy
given its location in the middle of the town,
1-2 mins walk to Dataran Pahlawan
and Hatten Square.

The last 2 days
we switched to (???) *i've forgotten
T____T
But it was only beside Wok&Pan.

During our 4 days 4 nights in Malacca, we :

--Went to A Famosa Resort in Alor Gajah.

• Bangau? Sorry, i fail my ~~Pengetahuan Am~~ common knowledge

• Emu (???), peacock, zebra, ostrich and horse

There is a Safari Park,
where the animals are left in the wild
and visitors would be drove into the habitats
in a 'cage' lorry.

Contrary to the norms,
humans are now the ones being caged,
instead of the animals
XD

I ♥ the kijang (???) there.
They are sooooo cute and adorable.
Tiny but naughty.
Somehow, they make me thought of
...
ROYTEST!
LOL

With an extra RM1,
you will get to watch how the tigers jumped onto their food.

They have quite a number of animal shows
to entertain the visitors;
Multi Animal Show, Wild Wild West, Elephant etc.

We watched the last 5 mins of the Wild Wild West show,
which I feel is abit childish,
but the way they managed to appear at different places did amaze me

The elephant show was at 4+,
they are so cute, esp when they hold their tails together
by their trunks and walked into the show.

And there was this particular elephant
which had "red eyeliner" above her eyes,
named Amoi.

Felt tht the elephants are very kelian.

I missed the mango juice w/o assam there.
Im addicted to it. T____T

We also cruised the river at night :)

They are not really that special
because we do get them around
except for Ayam Ponteh.
Nice!
I can finish 2-3 plates of rice with that :)

• Baba and Nyonya-style Dinner on Day 3 :

--Tried a low-fat home-made ice cream with fresh frozen fruits at ICILY
I tried it with Blackberry, Raspberry and Strawberry i think.
They tasted.. berry-like. :S
RM8.90 for 3 choices of imported fruits,
while 6.90 for locals (???)

• ICILY, they were near Stadhuys, sometimes at Jonker too!

We're supposed to take the bus home
on Sunday morning.
That morning, we woke up, got ready by 8.30am
and decided to forgo the trip back Penang impromptu.

So, we ended up spending the day
watching people walking around in DP,
went Baba and Nyonya Museum,
Jonker Street and Nadeje again
before leaving Malacca at night. XD

--Visited the Baba and Nyonya Museum on the last day,
the day we wandered around aimlessly.

It was a private property
so no pictures were allowed in there.
The Little Nyonya was filmed there.

[Ep 4] Way up to Kinabalu Park !

[Day 4]
Also the last day.
Woke up at 6.00,
breakfast at 6.30.
Too bad its too early,
my body, mind and everything didnt really have the appetite
to eat breakfast buffet, just abit.

• 6.30am in Sabah. Yes, they have sunrise and sunset an hour early than W.Malaysia

Then check-out at 7+
To save time, we brought our luggages and bags
down for breakfast.
=_____=
kinda funny though.

Our van and lecturer came and fetched us.
Wait, the lecturer is not the driver.
We left at 7.30am
and reached Pekan Nabalu after 1 1/2 hour ride.

Along the way,
we're able to see Mount Kinabalu a.k.a 神山
from far to near,
from clear to cover in clouds.
One day, I'll conquer it!
Yes, now that's on my list.

• Ecstatically keep on snapping Mt Kinabalu, hoping to get one with no poles, bushes or trees.

• At Pekan Nabalu. Behind us is the amazing 神山, aka Mt. Kinabalu.

• Mt Kinabalu is OURS!!!

Then another 1/2 hour,
we reached Kinabalu Park.
It feels as if we're on Cameron Highlands.
Cool breeze, surrounded by nature!
Nice!
Entrance fee RM3,
and remember to keep the ticket for Poring!

• Like what the roadsign implies, we're 500m away after almost 2 hours!

We took one of the jungle trails there,
named Silau-Silau Trail.
Followed the trail for 30 mins and we got back onto our van,
leaving for Poring Hot Springs.

• Can this be considered as jungle-trekking? D:

• On the bridge that was hanging across Sg. Mamut(???).

• Poring Hotsprings.

An absolutely superb place for relaxation.
We went there not only for the hotsprings,
but also for its canopy walk.
You'll have to pay extra RM3/person* and RM5/camera,
be it phone, point-and-shoot or DSLR for the canopy walk
(Note: *Malaysian )

But before reaching the canopy walk,
we had to ~~climb~~ follow a 500-600m jungle trails.
To us, ~~sap-sap water~~. it was TIRING, very very tiring.
I'm a 宅女 mah！
So, I dont really have enough staminas
for stuffs like this.
*Thinking twice whether to stick to my mission to climb Mt.Kinabalu*

*shrugs*

Upon reaching the Canopy Walk :

• Reached the Tree Top Canopy Walk after a ~~SHORT~~ LOOOOOONNNNNG jungle trail.

Breathless already.

• We made it!

The old man warned us earlier if any of us are acrophobic
- person who is fear of height.
The walk is around 160m long and 40m from the forest ground,
divided into 5 parts
with 5-6 viewing platforms.
The last part is the longest and freakiest.
Standing in the middle of the trail,
imagination kicks in.
Was so afraid the thing would just putus like that
and i'll drop to the ground, shattered.

Glad that we all made it through.

• The super, uber-long, high and freaky canopy walk. :S

• The Patpohs, minus PC who wasnt there with us.

Soaked our 猪脚s and 鸡脚 in the hot sulphuric minerals
in one of the open-air tub, under the sun.
Because it'll take > 30minutes to fill up an open-air tub under the roof.

• Waiting for water in the tub to rise :)

• Under the scorching hot sun .

• Water oh water.. faster oh faster.

At 1+ we left Poring, making our way out to Ranau.
Earlier,
before we reached Poring,
we saw signboard and banner which notify passer-bys blooming of Rafflesia,
the largest flower in the world.
The flower which i had only saw and heard in books and TVs,
never thought I could see one right in front of me.

• We are that lucky!

According to the old man,
he had never seen rafflesia during his 4 years in Sabah.
So, we zat-ed him saying his suayness prevented him from seeing one.
When we managed to see the flower on our first visit to Sabah,
we continued, saying that luckily our good luck are able
to overshadow the suayness. XD

Next on the list is the Desa Dairy Farm,
but before heading to the farm in Kundasang,
we had lunch in Ranau.

• Lunch : Mee Tuaran.

Reached the farm about 3+ in the noon.
Milking session is in progress.
At first i thought we could really milk the cows with our hands,
but then got disappointed because they are milked using machines.
Plus, they smells.
Never take bath la,
thats why.

Nice scenery,
its like a New Zealand in Malaysia.
LOL.
With the cool breeze, blue sky and green grass scenery.
*Ignore the smell at the back of the farm.

• Desa Dairy Farm, where the cows, grass, sky and cool breeze come together.

• The farm. Ada NZ feel? XD

• On the white fences at the farm. The background is real, bt somehow looks like a backdrop or Photoshopped

• Chcken and I. PHAIL! LOL! The wind messed our hair!

We then left for KKIA T2 at around 4+
because our flight back KUL was at 2100.
2 hours of journey back from Kundasang to the airport.
Thanks to Mr Tiong who spoke quite fluent Sabahan Malay,
we could save on the extra charges on our luggages and etc. :)

• BEFORE on the Left(w/o FML's) and AFTER on the Right (w FML's).

• We're LEAVING! noooooo... *bawls*

I started missing Sabah already.
Next time, I wanna go Sandakan and watch turtles!
Or maybe go ~~Jesselton~~ Kota Kinabalu again!

[Ep 3] - Off to Penampang and UMS

[Day 3]
Woke up at around 7.30-8.00 am to get ready
for breakfast and Gaya Market
held every Sunday morning.
Its like a pasar malam with a mix of pasar pagi,
which targets mostly tourists
with stalls that offer mostly souvenirs.

Got changed back in hotel because we're drenched in sweat,
before checking out.
Then we checked in at GrandBorneo
(yes, kaima checked in also in Facebook)
and went up to 1Borneo's GSC to buy tix for late night movie.

• Grandborneo's lobby. Took this because i was too free while they were busy checking in :P

• Camwhore after got the first room. i know, my hair. >__<

Thomas,
the ~~young friend of the old man~~ ex-student of Mr Tiong,
mentioned in previous post,
fetched us before fetching Mr Tiong
and we left for seafood in Penampang.

But,
the shop was not opened until 3pm,
and we reached there around 1+,
so we had to ~~wander~~ take a walk
at KDCA.
I dont know what it stands for,
but according to its website,
KDCA stands for Kadazandusun Cultural Association.
Heh.

Before we left KDCA, we decided to take picture in front
of the gong-like thing ,tagung (???) at the entrance.
We're very lucky because there was a cement stand there,
high enough to act as the stand for the camera
for self timer.

Back to seafood :
Honestly, i really really seldom eat prawns
especially if they still have their shells intact.
(exception for Assam Prawns, :O)

lazy eat also have to rajin abit. :))

Next time i must also find someone to help me kopek the shells

We wanted to go for coconut pudding as dessert
but the shop was closed.
Then on our way back to 1Borneo,
we visited the University Malaysia Sabah, UMS.
Known as one of the most beautiful university in Malaysia.

• UMS, facing the sea. so it has nice view of the sea and the sky.

The U is huge,
without transportation,
it'll take us at least 2-hour to tour the U on our feet,
exclude visits into the building.

[Day 2]

Had buffet breakfast before leaving to Jesselton Point
at 8.30am.

• Going down for breakfast at 7am + :)

• ♥ Nasi Lemak.

• Jay's ~~阳光宅男~~ 阳光宅女 . wakakakaka. I'm feeling so sunny.

Another guy and ~~an old man~~ good man joined us
for the trip to the islands; Pulau Manukan and Pulau Sapi.

We were given snorkels and life jackets,
and when i got the thing,
i was like : Damn, should have learned swimming.
LOL.

Only FML and I who dont know how to swim.
So, yea.
Nxt time I must find a lengzai to teach me swimming dy. ;)

• Leaving KK for Pulau Manukan and Sapi ^_^

1st stop : Pulau Manukan
After dropping a Japanese family of three at Mamutik,
the rest of us went Manukan.

Honestly, I'm abit afraid of water,
mainly of the depth.
You-know-la,
I kan tak cukup tinggi.
Coupled with the fact that i dont know how to swim,
lagilah i takut -____-

So after trying on the snorkelling thing for a while,
I ~~gave up~~ QUIT! LOL
Then FML and i sat on the white beach,
watching an old SHARK playing with two SMALL FISHES.

Hahahahahahhahaha
And watched plastic bags floating in the sea.

Drenched in seawater,
We left for Sapi when it almost reached noon.
Sapi is way way more crowded that Manukan,
mainly because the water there is way clearer and cleaner.

• All wet. On the boat to Sapi from Manukan ;) *cold*

• Haha. We're the Broga chicks and old man.

Here, we drew on the sand while waiting for lunch
The rest continued snorkelling while FML and i cleaned up.
Covered in Pareo,
we sat on the beach watching angmoh's sunbathing,
children sand playing and people snorkeling.

• Preparing to leave Sapi back to KK.

Reached the mainland around 3
and took some rest in hotel.
All of us managed to nap except kai ma!
LOL.

Dinner that day was at dont-know-what-place.
That night, poor kaima kena ZAT gao gao.
Hehe. 3 mouths vs kaima's 1 mouth.
we put our "进风" theory aside
and talked, zat-ed and laughed like gilas.

We asked the driver to drop us at Centrepoint,
and did some walking and shopping around
where we bumped into ~~old man and his young friend~~ ah Sir and his ex-student.
Hahahaha.

Shops in Sabah ~~'lai zap'~~ close quite early,
around 9pm.
Then we went to next door, Warisan Square(??).
Most of the shops there are already closed as well,
except for Padini.
So we lepak-ed at Padini before we ter-jalan till The Waterfront.

Walked back to hotel from Waterfront and joined the two men
we bumped into earlier for yumcha at Fook Yuen,
a cafe which is famous for its Damai Roti,
a bread spread with peanut butter and kaya.
Also had Teh C.
All on Victor!

[Ep 1] - KK City, Sabah

Sabah - The Land Below The Wind, also Negeri di Bawah Bayu.

Just got back ~~2-3 days~~ *1 week + from Kota Kinabalu,
the state capital of Sabah.
(*By the time i finish writing, uploading and posting, it's already 1 week +)

Honestly,
the city is just so-so lah.
But then, going beyond the city
into the nature
is so so so much fun!

Plus,
food there is abit more pricey than in W.M'sia.
Eg. Prawn noodles or laksa.
in Penang, 2-3
in Kl, maybe 4-5,
bt in KK, 5 and above.
Luckily im a Penangite. X)

Pre-KK trip day : 4th of August 2011.

May seem as not-a-very-important-day
But it was a ~~TERRIBLE~~ memorable day for us.
First, because our flight to KK is from LCCT,
the 3 of us who are living in different states
had to come down to KL a day earlier.

And because our train service is sooooooo EFFICIENT,
we missed the train from Bandar Tasik Selatan to Kajang
4 TIMES!

Yes, its F-O-U-R, E-M-P-A-T times in 2 hours.
We started waiting at 4pm and after missing 3 trains,
we tried our luck from the opposite side,
going up to KL Sentral.
While waiting, the next train going KJG came
and still leaving poor passengers who failed to ~~make~~ stuff themselves
into the 3-coach train.

Reached KL Sentral 4 minutes before the next train,
and we managed to get on,
stuffed like sardines.

When we reached Kajang,
it was already 7pm+.
A normal trip from BTS to KJG would only take 15 minutes,
excludes waiting.
But today,
it took us 3 hours of waiting and travelling way up to KL Sentral
to reach KJG.

Terrible, horrible and vegetable.
If you are a frequent user of the train,
you would understand the horrible feeling of waiting and missing trains.
If you think this is a 'sap-sap water' case,
wait till you experience it yourself.

'Nough said.

Day 1 : Touring the City of Kota Kinabalu.

We left Semenyih for LCCT with kaima at 8+
Reached LCCT at around 9+

• Our luggages, their total weight, and boarding pass with 'luggage stickers'

• Boarding passes, and slacking session at LCCT's Departure Hall. X)

• Hahahahahhaha. Funny sia the expression.

On our flight from KUL to BKI
a grandmother with her two grandsons
were sitting behind us.
At the last hour of flight, we ~~kacau-ed~~ played
with the little grandson and his alien-like bear.

• The boy, Borneo

We called the boy 'Borneo', the name he called his bear.
Throughout our 4-day trip,
we met them twice; first on our second day on Manukan Island,
second on the last day at Poring.
Haha. What a coincidence.

Our 1110 flight arrive in BKI at around 1340.
Upon arrival, all passengers would have to Queue up
to obtain a social visit pass...

• Heheh.. my social visit pass to Sabah.

Met our tourguide for 2 days, Tina, a kadazandusun.
We're sibeh hungry till we wanna faint,
so we went for lunch! :)

• Communicating with our tourguide, and those are our luggages.
(We'll make a comparison on day 4 xD )

• Hehe. First time stepping in Sabah, sure take picture la ;)
Too bad, kai ma was busy on the phone. X)

• We suddenly noticed that Bibi actually look like ~~Joey~~ Orang utan
*Hahahahha. this one was very funny because we did not expect the monkey's face
to fit so well into her body. X)

First place we visited upon reaching KK is the Cocoa Boutique.
Okay-okay la.
Abit tad pricey than what I expected.
So we tasted everything that can be tasted from tiramisu to espresso choc
and ended up going back empty handed.
One thing i dislike bout the place
is you dont really have the freedom to look around.

Up next is the Philippino Market(?)
Dont know whether i spelt it correctly or not :D
Great place to buy souvenirs; keychains, pareo etc.
Tina helped us to bargain the prices :X
We all bought Pareo and keychains there.
Also saw a row of shops which sell ikan masin and other dried stuffs.
Fishy and salty!

Then we went to Menara Tun Mustapha,
a.k.a Yayasan Sabah.
I thought we're going into the battery-like building,
manatau take pictures only. LOL

We dabao-ed and went a cafe tht doesnt close too early for yumcha

for their promo fish and chip

Went for Sushi Bonanza TWICE,
and i still feel like going :P

First round with the patpohs and Denise.

Second round with Chicken and ZK, more satisfied cause get to
eat lots of Unagi sushis!

Went PC Fair on the 15th.
We walked to KLCC from Pavillion and vice versa.

Well,
when it comes to the crazy and stupid stuffs the patpohs had ever did,
they are uncountable.

But maybe because we're getting ~~older~~ matured,
we are going into the 'retirement age'.
Not much crazy stuffs,
but still,
very energetic to go crazy and as crazy as before.

So much gila stuffs,
but too little space to blog about them.
Plus, not much pictures were taken
cause we're too overwhelmed?

The latest craziest stuff we did,
was the Makan Trip to Ipoh and Penang.

First stop : IPOH

Purpose of the stop : EAT

We're very enthusiastic for the first 3-4 days.

But then, we got very tired.

The next day, Stevent and ah sou dropped by our place
after they climbed the Broga Hill.
Being a salesman, of course he hard sell his stuff to us. :X
Then brought us to Sunway Pyrammid!

Kaima managed to get Krispy Kreme as one of the sponsor,
and hence, the fella give kaima face, to give priority for us
to take care of Krispy Kreme booth! :D

we're selling cetak rompaks in pasar malam. :X

Then within 1/2 - 1 hour we managed to sell the remaining 100s.
According to Mustapha,
Krispy Kreme was the best selling stall! :D

As usual, we have reunion on the day before CNY eve.
After being a mango peeler, i became the driver cause my-stupid-brother-had-to-worked.
if not, I wouldnt need to be one.

CNY Day 1
Did nothing but going for movies with dad and bro.
We went like early noon, but then only managed to buy tickets
for movies in late evening and near midnight.

CNY Day 2
Went Gurney and had BBQ Plaza!

That's when i knew they had their new branch opened in Gurney!
Yay!!
Also planned to went on Star Pisces cruise that evening.
But then there were no more standing pax
and only left rooms which costed like around RM200+ per pax.
So, yea.

And I went MIA after the CNY break.
Made everyone worried >_<
Darn! Traffic jam all the way from North to KL.
I got onto the bus which got-stuck-in-traffic-jam-for-hours-and-hours-making-
me-reaching-KL-in-the-middle-of-the-night,
Then my battery went totally flat, and im totally stucked in KL.

The thing went really big.
It even reached my parents back home.

Now, i dont feel like taking buses anymore.
Neways, now i agree with the saying : "朋友不需要多，只要有真心的那几个就够了“。
I'm glad i have them :D

Had one ~~day~~ night trip to Seremban.
Went to pasar malam
and Jusco + Tesco Seremban. xD

The next morning we had Chee Cheong Fun for breakfast
and then left for KL.

These are just 40% of the mangoes i have to peel.

grandma would say: Neh, my granddaughter made one.

Christmas Twenty Ten

It turned out that I sort of 'babysitted' my little cousin for
pre, while and post of 2010's Christmas.
it was quite fun though.

So, here are some of the pictures of 5 days (??) at Genting.
The Second day, we wrist-tagged to enter the Outdoor Themepark,
Third day, the Indoor Themepark
And fourth day, both Themeparks :P

But i dont get to be on the thrilling rides cause
1. I am weak-hearted.
2. Coward
3. Particularly because of the reason i mentioned in the first sentence
of this entry :\

Got la, at least i went on the Spinner and Pirate Ship. :] *proud*

-> Sunset while we're going into the DinosaurLand. It was nicer when not seen through the camera lens.

When Q-ing up for the 4D thing, which took us around 1hour plus minus...

--> Us.

Each of us were forced to take pictures with the Santa hat on by the youngest one.
Including Grandpa and Grandma.

--> lol.

We tried camwhoring.

We tried stacking ourselves up, from bigger size to the smallest (??)

But FAIL cause the youngest one likes to jump onto us.
So we try from the eldest to the youngest.
She still jumps, but since now I'm the base,
which means I'm the oldest of all,
we managed to get a ~~less fail~~ quite nice one.

Countdown-ed to Christmas at TS Genting.
First time countdown with family.

Mum's camera spoiled again on the third or fourth night.
Couldnt remember.
So, now she has the reason to buy a new one.
She'd been complaining of the small screen the old camera had,
now she's more clever already and bought one with wider screen.
But then, on the first night it was bought,
my ~~bra~~ bro 'terdeleted' all the pictures
one shot;
including those we took in Genting.

Fortunately, I copied some to laptop earlier to be uploaded.
:P

On the day we came down from Genting,
we had our late lunch at (??).
The 7 children (inclusive of me; whoah, im still children :P)
sat at one table
While the adults sat at another.

The littlest one was on my left,
and she only wanted to eat white rice.
We had so much fun tricking her
to look somewhere else and secretly put some meat into her rice.
LOL.

Bits of Sem 1

Hmm,
Some updates since Sem 1 of Year 1 is now
almost over?

I couldn't remember everything that happen during Sem 1
but I'd try my very best.
I noticed my memory is actually quite weak already.

.:. A coincidence i noticed one morning.

The day when there's no electricity.
I remembered it was a Tuesday cause during that day's Studying Organisation's class,
the classroom was dark, no aircond and we had to rely on lights from our phones
to actually see and read plus write and highlight.

TCR was relatively emptier and rather quiet as well.

.:. No ~~current~~ electricity, hence we have to read, listen and write in dark during ~~SOS~~ SO

Then there was the day when ~~Amy~~ kai ma came over our place
Had steamboat to 'celebrate'.
We're all bloated and had lots of fun,
and aymee was so obsessed with her 'theory of 2 prawns'.
She used the theory of 2 ekor udang for 3 days!
But indeed, it made us laughed alot.

One of the reasons kai ma stayed over, apart from chionging assignment,
is also because of ACE's Run, which we volunteered for.
Aih, that event.

We also joined as volunteer for the nearby DAJ's Food and Fun Fair or
whatsoever it was called.
I was in charged of the 'household items' booth,
then opposite the booth was the 'bear' section!
So, I kept on 'stalking' for cute bears
And i got 3 for RM5 each.

.:. Dogs I got from Desa Amal Jireh's Food and Fun (??) Fair.

Also went to McD in Kajang Perdana with PC, Aymee, Winston, and Calvin
where we saw a bunch of kids monopolized the whole place.

My baby broke down the night before Economics assignment due date!
Kek sei ngo!
But fortunately, I'd save all the stuffs before the suay thing happened.
Somehow, i felt it was God who gave me the message to save them. :)
Ang kong bo bi a!
Then the next morning, we're supposed to have Financial Accounting
replacement class,
but we planned to skip it for the sake of our assignment.

And guess what, we bumped into the lecturer who reminded us :
"Hey, class is as usual a today ."
Where we guiltily nodded and continue to skip the class.
That morning, my attention span was 4 hours!

Another 'special' event that happen is
I got the chance to be 厅长.
In the midst of chionging assignment in the living room,
i got to sleep on sofa,
especially when chionging EnB's poster.
Cause it was to be emailed to kai ma before we went out to lepak at MV the next day
so that she could get the thing printed out.

The next day's MV trip was the first shopping trip (??) with kai ma :]
We had Korean food for late lunch
and i bought boxes of DIY cakes!
Happy !

.:. The morning when we Joey and I 'misinterpreted' the bus ~~skehjool~~ schedule.

we went out at 830am when the bus had already gone and
the next one is at 1030.

Watudu,
we went and have roti canai at the nearby malay stall
and bought nasi lemak back home.

.:. Had nasi lemak while watching Despicable Me to kill time.

Luckily, I got free reformat service, thanks to my uncle.

So, currently I'm using the HP netbook that we got from the
TMnet uni package.. :]
Still, i miss my baby much.

Third in A Year

Before this,
I have this paradigm that i'll only fall sick once a year.
That was particularly applicable in previous years.

Starting this year,
it's now a No-no.

Im now sick, for the third time of the year;
first during last semester of found., somewhere around jan - may.
Second during summer break, likely around august-september

Not-bad-what, all the runny nose, body aches,sore throats
together-gether with assignments, presentations and lab exam.

Of Money

Back from a trip to Bank Negara @ Central Bank today.
It was quite fun,
minus the travelling time and
'the-bus-driver's-stepping-on-gas-and-the-next-second-stepping-on-brake'
due to a jam caused by an accident on our way back.

Again, I must mention,
I hate that kind of 'shakiness due to almost-simultaneous stepping gas and brake'
If want to step gas, please continue for like some time before stepping on brake again.
Really beh tahan and wanted to vomit. >__<

Oh, and also minus the 'no-live-viewing-of-money-printing-process'
from the trip.
We thought we can at least view some stacks of $$ or part of the printing process live.
But,too bad, the operations are carried out not in M'sia.
Somewhere else lah.
But he showed us the video.
Alah, jadilah.

The outcome of the trip,
it makes me wanna work there
>_<
When we first arrive there,
we went to a lobby,
where we were then brought outside
following another route into another building.
Then, on our way,
Chicken and I were holding hands (wah, romanticnya)
lol.
We started to joke around:
'Maybe he's bringing us through the back door,
to the same spot in the lobby again'
etc.

We're like little kids,
going on educational tour,
back in schools it was lawatan sambil belajar.
Then chicken commanded :
'Hold your hands, dont get lost, put your finger on your lips'
like how guru pengirings would command back then.
I just couldn't even think or imagine
the group of us following the command
AT THIS AGE :\

We arrived,
not in the same spot in the lobby,
but in another '5-star-hotel-like' lobby.
Instead of receptionist at the reception desk,
there were police officers.
Toilet smells good.
lol

We're seated in an auditorium which could fill in about 200+
Given talks or briefings or speeches on the Central Bank(BNM) ,
its functions, some histories, currencies, money printing, counterfeiting.
Then one of the ~~patpohs~~ PP,
said : 'Maybe they would give us some $$ notes in the bag they gave us'.
LOL

around 1 hour plus speeches plus Q&A,
we left the auditorium to board the bus.
this time, we're not using the same route as how we got
to the building.
We went through the 'shortcut' in the building.
Ada shortcut rupa-rupanya.
which led us to the same spot in the lobby i mentioned earlier.!
i think the shortcut is for staff access only,
but okaylah, thank god it was raining that time,
so we could 'tumpang lalu'. lol

Now i know how much value of money i will get back
when i bring a cacat-ed (shrunk, tear, scribbled,soiled, etc)
money note back to BNM.
And no value will be given for a counterfeited money,
aka wang palsu, instead you may be ~~diPENJARAkan~~ jailed.
That makes it a better choice to spend it at the nearest pasar malam.
LOL.
JK a. dont say i teach you har. >_<

So, that's the trip to BNM and lesson learnt today ;]

Way Too Long

After the 6-hours bus yesterday
(oh god, it was only meant to be 4 or 5
but I had to sat there for extra 1-2 hours
which i dislike!)
I'm again back home after, like 3weeks of class?
:O

The first week in Semenyih
we went around the town,
and a town further
to get all the basic things a HOUSE should HAVE.
From a broom to a fridge.
From dry groceries to wet ones.
And register ourselves on the 25th of course

Then classes officially starts
the next week.
New modules, new lecturers
new set of notes
new books TO BUY!

We Chicken and i also found a new way to entertain ourselves
during lectures
that is by jotting down how many times
'AYOWM', 'AYWM' , 'AYO', and many more 'Are You..'s
on the table,
then see in the 2-h lecture
how many times they are said.

That's a HARD WORK cause there may be repetitions in one sentence,
and it's hard to split the R and L ears,
one for spotting the ~~difference~~ 'Are You..'s
and one for the lecture :O
Somehow, Chicken did a better job than i :\

Year 1 means working ALOT harder than foundation.
BEA, CIB, SO, FA, EnB, BLA~~
:O
Are they intended to suffocate us? :(

Went PC Pikom Fair at KLCC.
Business v Engineering.
We follow the Kajang -> Bandar Tasik Selatan -> Masjid Jamek -> KLCC route
cause we dont want got stuck in KTM for too long and all the sweating.
Engineering followed Kajang -> KL Sentral -> KLCC.

Business reached slightly earlier than the engineering.

We finished all of them AT LEAST one week before the dues.
except for QMB and PoAb which we managed to finish 4-5 days before due! :]

The shuang-ness of non-last-minute-work.

though we're quite busy in the mid of the sem when everyone's relaxing.

Watched ppl lamenting in FB and in rl of the assignments.

Sacrifing sleep for assignments.
But the problem of finishing them early is that
we tend to almost forgot to hand in them. :X
